Join us for a free event that offers a hands-on experience in a typical architecture studio. Engage in design and model-making exercises, including a workshop dedicated to visualising space and structure, where you'll create your own 3D model. Gain valuable insights into preparing your architecture portfolio, explore our London Road campus, and ask any questions you have. We'll provide lunch and all necessary model-making materials.
Our Taster Day at the London Road campus runs from 10:00 to 15:30, offering you an immersive experience in architecture and a glimpse into our dynamic Department.

- Let us know if you have any accessibility requirements when you book your place.
- Check if you're eligible for a travel bursary.
- Arrive with plenty of time! We'll send you a schedule about a week before the event.
- Consider what you want to gain from the day and prepare any questions for our staff and students.
FAQs
What should I bring?
If possible, bring an A4 sketchbook and a pencil. As you'll be building card models (15cm x 15cm), please bring a bag to transport them home.
What should I wear?
Dress casually in comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes, as you'll be using hot glue guns.
Can I park on site?
Yes, parking is available. Please collect a parking permit at the registration point and display it in your vehicle during the event. For more information, email our Outreach team.
Is lunch available for purchase?
We'll provide a light sandwich lunch. While you won't be able to buy food at our on-site outlets, you're welcome to bring additional food. To ensure everyone's safety, please avoid bringing any food containing nuts.
